If your organization is interested helping educate future and existing healthcare professionals about Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, please consider sponsoring us. Partnering with us will reflect the commitment of your organization to a safer and more efficient healthcare environment.
Some sponsoring opportunities are listed below.
- Seminar & Speaker Series ($50): The seminar series is intended to provide members with educational workshops and talks delivered by experts in the field monthly.
- Quality Improvement Teams ($100): QI projects offer student members the opportunity to apply IHI quality improvement techniques in a realistic setting (e.g. Primary Care, Hospitals, and Long‐term care facilities). Using the IHI’s Model for Improvement, and the principles of QI and Patient Safety, students collaborate with champions to solve real‐world problems over the course of a school year. At the conclusion of the project, each student team will present a write‐up and poster of their experience and their concluding results.
- QuIPS Conference ($500 – $1000+): The purpose of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QuIPS) Conference is to provide students and professionals with the opportunity to contribute to discussions of healthcare improvement and to network with peers, collaborators and potential employers. The inter-disciplinary nature of QuIPS conference allows attendees to discover the ways in which health disciplines interact and learn from success stories in a variety of disciplines. The aim is to empower participants with tools, skills, knowledge and attitudes to facilitate positive change in healthcare through effective administration, policy, research and practice.
